2021 Canadian Screen Award Winner

I'm thrilled to be awarded 2021 Best Picture Editing, Documentary from the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.

This film means a lot to me - from the subject matter that's close to my heart, to working with the stellar production team led by directors Mark & Caitlin Starowicz and line producer Diana Warmé, with incredible support from the team at CBC The Nature of Things, Sue Dando & Caroline Underwood.

Thanks to the Canadian Academy, and thanks to all of these great apes! It takes a village to make a movie.

Cinematography by Joshua See & Michael Boland, location audio by Caitlin Starowicz, assistant editing by Karen Shopsowitz & Mitch Heron, graphics by Mark Alberts at Electric Square, sound design by Alan Geldart, music by Ken Myhr. Post facility Urban Post - project manager Ike Murphy, online by Colin Campbell, colour by Warren Chinn and mix by Keith Elliot. Narrated by Sandra Oh.
