I'm thrilled to be awarded 2021 Best Picture Editing, Documentary from the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.
This film means a lot to me - from the subject matter that's close to my heart, to working with the stellar production team led by directors Mark & Caitlin Starowicz and line producer Diana Warmé, with incredible support from the team at CBC The Nature of Things, Sue Dando & Caroline Underwood.
Thanks to the Canadian Academy, and thanks to all of these great apes! It takes a village to make a movie.

Canadian Screen Award Nomination 2020
I’m happy to be nominated for Best Picture Editing Documentary, for the episode “Evolution” of Primitive Entertainment’s series, Equator: A New World View. The series has also garnered nominations for the Rob Stewart Award for Best Science or Nature Documentary Program or Series, and Best Direction, Documentary Series for Kevin McMahon and Matt Gallagher. Equator: A New World View aired in Canada on Discovery Channel, and internationally on Arte Germany and NHK in Japan.
